PRESS RELEASE | Lego Harry Potter Demo

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 Demo Available on Xbox LIVE® Beginning June 8

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE) and TT Games are bringing the magic of LEGO® HARRY POTTER™: YEARS 1-4 to consumers with a demo scheduled to be available June 8th for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.  The demo will also be available for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC in late June.  The full game will hit store shelves beginning June 30th in Australia.

Consumers will able to download the demo from Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®Network for the PlayStation 3.

The LEGO® HARRY POTTER™: YEARS 1-4 demo will give kids, parents and fans a glimpse into the magic that awaits them with gameplay that allows them to learn and cast spells, as well as explore the Forbidden Forest, one of the many iconic settings in the game.

LEGO® HARRY POTTER™: YEARS 1-4 will give gamers the chance to experience the magic and adventure of the first four Harry Potter stories in a brand new way. Playing as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley™ and Hermione Granger™, as well as more than 150 other favourite characters, fans will have the opportunity to attend lessons, cast spells, mix potions, fly on broomsticks and complete tasks to earn rewards.  Throughout the game, players will also have the freedom to explore iconic settings from the wizarding world including Hogwarts™ castle, Diagon Alley, the Forbidden Forest and the village of Hogsmeade.

    Queued the download, will give it a go tonight. At 600MB-odd it’s not too big, but hopefully there’s a decent go on the demo. Always like the Lego games. :-)

    Lego Batman was the best ever.

    I want a Lego Lord of the Rings, Lego Spiderman and Lego Halo.
