My Week in Gaming

Man this week in gaming was good

Just thought I would talk about what I did in the week of 12th-19th September in gaming. The week of 12th-19th has been a big week there was a major game release and a couple of good XBLA titles releases.

To start off my week in the countdown to Halo: Reach I immersed myself in an XBLA (Xbox Live Arcade) title called Dead Rising 2: Case Zero which was very compelling and fun and I definitely recommended checking the game out. I had hours of joy just running around town destroying zombies. I would recommend checking this game out its 400 MS points as of the 20th of September. I was playing this game right up to I received my copy of this small game called Halo: Reach.

On Tuesday I picked my copy of Halo: Reach up and jumped in it was very enjoyable and I couldn’t get enough it literally didn’t leave my Xbox 360 all week and I played it hours on end going through the campaign (on level 9 at the moment) getting addicted to multiplayer making me neglect the campaign and especially playing the firefight mode. I can’t wait till I finish the campaign so I can play it again for achievements and a second time on legendary with a group or by myself. I had my friend come round and we played it for hours all night online talking to people trying to make people rage quit by T-bagging them. The one thing I hated was that it took me 157 minutes to get the Achievement Heat in the Pipe (which is to score 1million points on firefight).

This week I also managed to chuck my pre-order in on 2 games, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. These games are shaping up to be very good and I can’t wait for the release. I also hope to pre-order NBA 2k11 soon.
