Cyberpunk 2077 Teaser Trailer

Announced in 2012, CD Projekt RED, the creators of the infamously hard Fantasy RPG’s The Witcher and The Witcher 2, revealed a new release title currently in progress called Cyberpunk 2077. The gameplay itself will follow suit of a Science Fiction Role Playing Game set in the not too distant future, whereas the story will revolve around the MAX-TAC (Maximum Force Tactical Division), or as their more favoured name, “Psycho Squad”. MAX-TEC is an elite force of police who specialise in taking down people who overuse augmentation, lose control of themselves and start to massacre civilians.

The game Cyberpunk 2077 is originally based off the table top role playing game written by Mike Pondsmith and published by R. Talsorian Games, Cyberpunk 2013 (which is more commonly just know as Cyberpunk) published in 1988. In 1990 the makers of Cyberpunk released a second edition called “Cyberpunk 2020” which was made in order to fit in with the German reunification. Later on in 2005 another edition of Cyberpunk was released and instead of giving it a year, it is simply called “Cyberpunk V3”.

I for one am extremely excited about this game, but unfortunately it isn’t scheduled to be released until 2015 due to other games in development that CD Projekt RED are working on, however, they did release a CGI teaser trailer for the game mid January this year. the visuals in the trailer are amasing and the song Bullets by Archive was a great move in terms of song choice for the trailer. This is one game I’m definitely going to be kept posted on, I’ll be posting news, updates and more teasers for Cyberpunk as the game further progresses, as for now, enjoy this remarkable trailer.
