OzBoxLive.com started way back in JULY 2007 in Melbourne, Australia with a focus on a site for the Australian XBOX 360 consumer. The Podcast – OzBoxLive Radio – gets its name from the Xbox Live service and for the fact that we are the ONLY podcast in the world to actually use Xbox Live to help produce the show. As all the Interviews are actually recorded via Xbox Live’s Voice Chat facility. We are currently in our fourth season and release the show every two weeks.

Each episode runs for under one hour and features the latest News, Reviews, Interviews, Tips and Group Discussions. We give away copies of the new Xbox 360 Magazine… “Australian 360” along with Halo 3 Bags, Mass Effect Making of DVD’s, Xbox 360 Lanyards, Gears of Wars Cog Tags and many other goodies.

We also have our own OzBoxLive Game Nights (Community Playdate) where we organize with the support of Microsoft Australia all Australian Xbox 360 GOLD members to meet up on a Friday night every month at 8pm to play either an Xbox 360, Xbox Live Arcade and even Xbox Original game. The main purpose is to have a fun night with fellow Aussies, add more members to your Friend’s List as well as win some prizes and chat with the OzBoxLive team.

Other than that we have recorded one episode of “OzBoxLive TV” when Microsoft invited us to Sydney a week before the release of Halo 3. We are going to have some more Video  in the near future but our main focus is the audio ones.

The OzBoxLive Team consists of Mark, Cam, Steve, Sey, Tash and David, who work hard each week to make the show fun, informative and interesting to listen to.

- CardShark 360 (Mark) is the Executive Producer and Host and is the biggest Xbox fan in the world. He dreams of working at Microsoft sometime in the near future. Mark does all the Interviews with key members of the Australian Xbox Community. He loves Gears of War, Bomberman Live and Chocolate Magnums with Almonds.

- Natashaaaaa86 (Tash) is in charge of the News segment and informs everyone about any New Releases, Major Announcements and the Top 5 Games of the week. She loves Grand Theft Auto, Assassins Creed and First Person Shooters.

- TAXC – (Cam) is the man when it comes to Reviews as he brings our other members in as well as Special Guests to have a chat about the latest Games Story, Gameplay, Graphics, Sound and Key Features. He also works in a major retail store in Australia and is a big fan of Halo, Call of Duty and all Car racing games.

- MANLY SEY (Sey) is working on the XBLA Game of The Week for this season. He always has an opinion about everything. He is a big fan of the older retro style games and loves his beat-em-ups. He even has his own theme song!

- GoneX (Steve) is the all-rounder. He helps in the Reviews and Group Discussion. He is now working on OzBoxLive TV and making it a regular spot on the show. He is a big fan of Flying Games and Gears of War.

- Ohverture (David) creates content for the website, including video editing and music. He is a long time avid gamer, having enjoyed and played through the evolution of the industry since the mid 80’s.
