So today I picked up Smackdown vs Raw 2011 (Bret Hart Edition) and I can’t wait to get stuck into it. It’s promising to be a hugely impressive game with the new mechanics and the huge physics system update they did to the game making it more impressive to play and more realistic to wrestling fans.
I can’t wait to start putting people through tables, hitting them in the head with chairs and completing the “Road to Wrestlemania” challenges. I’m also really looking forward to the new roster with all my favorite superstars and legends. With this huge new roster out its going to make it even better than last year.
Below is a trailer for “Universe Mode” an upgraded version of “Exhibition Mode” in the game. This is pretty much like running your own WWE Career as it tracks everything you do in the ring and it has matches scheduled for you. This video is commentated by Game Designer Dan Ryan and he explains some really good points about the mode and gives a good explanation. They have also really advanced customization in this mode making it much easier to form alliances and change championships over to people.
